Purpose:
The purpose of the Student Association for Latin American Studies (SALAS) is to provide an opportunity for students with diverse interest in Latin America to collectively engage in expanding knowledge about the complex issues in Latin American studies; and, to promote this goal in the New Mexico State University community and the Las Cruces community.
