The American Indian Program (AIP) at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM hosts its annual Future American Indian Scholars Program (FAIS). The Summer comprehensive, enrichment program encourages upcoming Native American High School Juniors and Seniors to pursue their post-secondary education at NMSU.

In a weeklong residency program, students participate in academic workshops, classes, and lectures designed to provide them with information regarding NMSU and the college experience.

The American Indian Program (AIP) at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM will host the Future American Indian Scholars GEARUP Program (FAIS-Gear Up). The pre-college program is open to American Indian GEARUP participants.
