The following
documents must be submitted along with your application for admission
to
International Application
Application
Fee
Submit the $50
application fee by personal check or money order in U.S. dollars
payable to “
Academic
records submitted must be official or certified copies of transcripts,
listing all courses taken, grades (marks) received, and degrees
statements, if applicable.
Prospective graduate applicants must submit one
complete academic record from each college or university attended.
Prospective undergraduate transfer applicants who
have attended other colleges or universities must submit an official
transcript from each college or university attended. Secondary school
records may also be required.
Prospective
undergraduate freshman (first time
at any college) applicants must submit an official secondary school
record, including proof of graduation or school
leaving certificate.

Undergraduate
applicants must submit a minimum 173 (computer-based) or 500
(paper-based) TOEFL score; graduate applicants must submit minimum 197
(computer-based) or 530 (paper-based) TOEFL score.
TOEFL score reports must be for testing less than two
years old. TOEFL
scores may not be required for applicants who have completed a prior
degree at a
Financial
Support
Upon
acceptance, applicants must submit a certified statement of financial
ability to pay or a letter from a sponsor.
Proof of financial ability must be on file before our
office can issue the necessary immigration document for you and your
family. Current
requirements are posted on the International Programs website,
www.nmsu.edu/~ip. Additional
financial support is required for the addition of each dependent to
your I-20. Although
you are encouraged to submit this document along with your application
it is not required until admission is granted.

referred to the appropriate college or department.
