Feminists Reinventing Equality Everywhere

FREE (Feminist Reinventing Equality Everywhere) is a student organization that works to challenge sexism, racism, homophobia, economic injustice and other forms of oppression; promote the personal growth and leadership development of women; encourage and support research in Women's Studies; sponsor events relevant to women; provide community outreach; offer networking and advocacy for women students, faculty, staff, and community members; serve as a resource on women's issues; and organize students to engage in activism for social change. Underlying all these endeavors is a fundamental commitment of equality and justice locally and globally.

FREE recognizes that women share a common history or resistance to control and exploitation of our minds and bodies. We aim to cultivate young feminist leaders n a social justice and human rights frame work, providing them with concrete and relevant skills that they can apply to achieve a just society.
