CCDL 101N. Basic Skills in English as a Second Language I 4 cr. (3+2P)
Developmental studies course for ESL students. Development of basic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English as a second language with emphasis on speaking and listening. Pronunciation stressed. Course intended for U.S. citizens and residents who are nonnative speakers of English. Prerequisite: English language screening or consent of instructor. S/U only.

CCDL 103N. Basic Skills in English as a Second Language II 4 cr. (3+2P)
Continuation of CCDL 101N for ESL students. Course intended for U.S. citizens and residents who are nonnative speakers of English. Prerequisite: English language screening or CCDL 101N or consent of instructor. S/U only.

CCDL 105N. Intermediate Skills in English as a Second
Language I 4 cr. (3+2P)
Intermediate level with emphasis on reading and writing. Grammar and syntax stressed. Course intended for U.S. citizens and residents who are nonnative speakers of English. Prerequisite: English language screening or CCDL 103N or consent of instructor. S/U only.

CCDL 107N. Intermediate Skills in English as a Second
Language II 4 cr. (3+2P)
Continuation of CCDL 105N. Course intended for U.S. citizens and residents who are nonnative speakers of English. Prerequisite: English language screening or CCDL 105N or consent of instructor. S/U only.
