To be awarded a baccalaureate degree a student must1. Complete the requirements for the degree as shown by the department in which the degree is offered including a minimum of 55 credits of upper-division courses (numbered 300 and above) and the minimum total number of credits required for the degree;
2. Complete at least 38 credits of general education course work selected from the list of approved general education courses presented in the general education section of this catalog and the specific general education courses that may be required by each department;
3. Complete any other requirements for graduation as discussed under "Regulations" in the "General Information" chapter of this catalog.
