HSS 219 (HSS Computer Classroom) Facility Information (Room capacity: 25 students)

What does HSS 219 have for instructor use?
HSS 219, on the second floor of the Health and Social Services Building, has seating for up to 25 students and is equipped with the following:
- An instructor station
- An instructor's Gateway computer (ACN login for NMSU staff/faculty) with USB 2.0 ports, camera card slots and DVD/CD drive
- Twenty-five (25) student Gateway computers (ACN login for NMSU students) with USB 2.0 ports, camera card slots and DVD/CD drive
- Toshiba VCR/DVD combo
- Sanyo Multimedia Projector
- Projection Screen

External connectors for (guest) laptop and Ethernet connection.
- Important note: A non-NMSU presenter who wishes to connect their system to the NMSU network will need the assistance of a knowledgeable staff member no less than 5 minutes before the connection is needed in order to authenticate the system; you may contact the MRC in HSS 326 [646-4388] to see if someone is available to facilitate this procedure.
- External multimedia speakers provide output from the computer and the computer-based DVD playback.

- Requests for HSS 202, 218, 219, 220, 226, 318 and 320 are processed by the Media & Resource Center using our standard form. After completing the form, a staff member will manually place it on the web-based calendar and will then send a confirmation note. This is not an automated process; the listing of your request that is shown when you "submit" your request is just that: a listing, not an actual confirmation.
