| Road-to-College Day is an annual event hosted
by the NMSU Chapter of Golden Key and sponsored by local businesses. The
event was awarded the ?Best Academic Project Award? at the 1999 Golden
Key International Conference for the work done with the 1st Annual Road-to-College
Day event, bringing international recognition to our chapter.
Golden Key member Royce James, founder of Road-to-College,
created the project to provide an opportunity for local middle school students,
who are not currently on the collegiate track, to realize the road to college
is available to them. |
