Unless otherwise noted  all scholarships require full time enrollment at NMSU Main Campus (Las Cruces, NM).

Scholarships

Dr. Narcisa Zarate Endowed Scholarship

  • Scholarship for graduate or undergraduate Hispanic students born in New Mexico, must be enrolled full time at the Las Cruces (main) campus.
  • Must have completed 12 credited hours on NMSU main campus
  • Demonstrate need
  • Covers tuition for one semester (not fees)

  • Danny Villanueva Leadership Scholarship

    The Danny Villanueva Scholarship Fund was established to assist students at New Mexico State University who have proven to be potential leaders and have financial need. Students can demonstrate leadership through a record of community service and participation in community and/or on-campus organizations.

  • Students must be full-time NMSU Las Cruces campus students
  • Completed 12 credit hours NMSU
  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
  • Demonstrate need
  • $1500.00 for one semester at NMSU
  • Application
  • Hispanic Faculty/Staff Caucus

  • Scholarship for graduate or undergraduate Hispanic students, must be enrolled full time at the Las Cruces (main) campus.
  • Completed 12 credit hours NMSU
  • Demonstrate need
  • $1500 for one semester
