Clock of Dreams |
![]() |
"Clock of Dreams" is a 36-foot-tall sculpture and timepiece created by Albuquerque artist Evelyn Rosenberg. It is located in front of NMSU's Engineering Complex III. Each side represents an element necessary in the process of invention: work, inspiration, chance, and time. The panel shown here symbolizes chance. It operates similarly to a Las Vegas slot machine with its spinning wheels. The three concentric circles shown rotate slowly, powered by the wind. Variations of six design elements are repeated in each of the circles. On occasion, chance will bring three similar designs into alignment. |
