| To promote academic and professional networking; to provide current information about the public health field; to lend support to incoming and current Master of Public Health students; to raise funds for conferences, meetings, and activities which will enhance the academic experiences of all members; to promote social responsibility through community involvement and service; to facilitate communication and discussion between individuals, agencies, and the governmental jurisdictions through the exchange of practices and philosophies; to motivate and recognize service and academic achievement; and to raise professional standards and ethics. | ||||||||||||
