Augmentative Release of Exotic Parasitoids and Predators

Thirty-five parasitoid and predator species have been augmentatively released by the biological control group at NMSU over the last 20 years for the control of such pests as whitefly, asparagus aphid, yellow pecan aphid, elm leaf beetle, alfalfa weevil, grape leafhopper, pecan nut casebearer, hickory shuckworm, and pink bollworm.
