The MBRS-RISE Program is a research-oriented program sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. Its primary objective is to increase the number of minorities completing the UNDERGRADUATE (B.S.) degree and the Graduate (Ph.D.) degree in the biomedical sciences.
The primary goal of the MBRS-RISE Program at NMSU is to increase the number of under represented minority students actively pursuing advanced degrees in the sciences. The disciplines that are available through MBRS-RISE are:
