Seasons of a Navajo follows the Neboyias family through the four seasons as they travel to each of their hooghans, engaging the seasonal practices of sheepherding, weaving, planting and harvesting, all of which are central to traditional Navajo culture.

Not only must contestants exhibit poise and grace as those in typical pageants, they must also answer tough questions in the Navajo language and demonstrate proficiency in skills essential to daily tribal life: fry-bread making, rug weaving and sheep butchering. The film reveals the importance of cultural preservation, the role of women in continuing traditions and the surprising role that a beauty pageant can play.
"Pancho Villa and Other Stories"

This remarkable account of the Mexican Revolution and one of its most important and enigmatic protagonists, Francisco "Pancho" Villa, is a unique achievement in the realm of historical documentaries. Producer Phillip Rodriguez places at the center of the film the personal stories of men and women who were were witnesses to and participants in the Revolution.
"Mountain Gorilla"

Filmed over the course of 13 years, this is a portrait of the Lady Chieftains, the legendary girl's basketball team from Shiprock, New Mexico, primarily made up of kids from the nearby Navajo reservation.
