Search Advisory Committee

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee was formed for the purpose of conducting a national search for the most qualified candidates for the 22nd President of New Mexico State University. On June 22, 2009, the committee received their charge from the New Mexico State Board of Regents.

The Committee shall provide an unranked list of no fewer than five qualified candidates to the Board of Regents. The selection of finalists shall result from a majority vote of the full Presidential Search Advisory Committee and the five finalists will be announced to the public. The Board of Regents shall be responsible for making the final selection and appointment of the President of the University.

The Board of Regents extends its deep appreciation to the members of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee for their willingness to assume this important and demanding assignment and calls upon the entire University community to assist the Committee and Board in this endeavor.
