Presidential Search

The NMSU Board of Regents is committed to recruiting the best-qualified candidate to lead our university. On behalf of the board, I want to thank our search committee and consultants for their commitment and focus on the path we outlined for them. They performed in an exemplary manner.

The on-campus interviews are ongoing and include many opportunities for faculty, staff, students and the community to interact with the candidates. There will be a public forum and reception for each of the finalists as well as a student forum. Both the public and student forums for each of the five finalists are being webcast at panopto.nmsu.edu/pressearch.

The board encourages feedback as the finalists are introduced on campus and wants everyone to feel confident that their input will be considered. Forms to provide anonymous feedback for each candidate are available on the finalist page or you may submit comments directly to regents@nmsu.edu. The deadline for feedback will be 5 p.m. Thursday, May 2, so we can review as we are discussing our selection.
