Announcement: Summer CPR (adult) classes, July 25, 2006
EH&S is pleased to announce that CPR (adult) classes will be
provided by
NMSU Police on July 25 (2 classes: 9-11 am & 2-4 pm). American
Heart has recently made
changes to
their certification requirements and these will be the
first classes at NMSU under the new criteria. We expect to be
scheduling
monthly or bimonthly classes later in the year.
Interested parties should register in advance via the EH&S
Safety
website (
http://www.nmsu.edu/~safety)
to ensure the class is
held and seating is available. The classes will be in the EH&S
training facility in Academic Research Unit C, Rm 110, at 1620 Standley
Drive (see map on the above website).
- There is a cost of $20 per person for the class. Payment
can be NMSU account, cash or check. Cost includes the manual, enclosed
CD, class instruction and registration certificate. Attendees must
pick up their CPR manual and make payment (at least a
week in advance)
from EH&S office, room 109, Academic Research Unit C (please see
map on EH&S website).
- Certification
is good for two years.
- The classes are open to the University community. Any
associated individual may attend.
- Classes sizes are limited. Please register in advance to
ensure class is held and seating is available.
