Announcement: Facilities Safety Fair, Friday, October 13, 9 am - 2 pm at Intramural Activity Field
This is a quick reminder of the Facilities Safety Fair on this Friday, October 13, from 9 am to 2 pm. The event is to be located on the Intramural Activity Field, across from the Greek Complex at the corner of Wells and Locust Streets (campus map).
This fair is directed at facilities and maintenance employees. It will feature vendor booths with the latest in personal protective equipment, shop safety, ergonomic equipment and first aid kits. Eight safety and tool equipment suppliers will show their wares (photo 1) and there will be several semi-trailer units with safety shoe displays.
EH&S will provide information on NMSU Recycling, Waste Battery Collection, PPE and Respiratory Protection, as well as Hand Washing Recommendations and Communicable Disease Prevention (photo 2).
