Accessing Your Account

First, access your e-mail account on dante, verdi, hector or paris.

1. On a PC double click on Telnet.
   On a Mac double click on NSCA Telnet.
   
2. On a PC click on Connect, then Remote System.
   On a Mac click on File, then Open Connection....
   
3. Type verdi as the Host Name (Host/Session Name on a Mac) and click on the Connect button.
   

   Verdi is just one of the remote system options. You can also connect to other UNIX servers at NMSU: dante, hector, or paris.

4. At the login prompt, enter your User ID (your e-mail ID).
   
5. At the password prompt, enter your password.
   

You are "logged on" to the UNIX server and ready to work.
