  The New Mexico Educational Retirement Board has posted its final proposal to the NMERB defined-benefit retirement plan. Click here to view the proposal. The NMERB will present the proposed changes to the Legislature sometime during this year's legislative session. Once the legislation votes on the final bill it will go to Gov. Martinez for approval or denial. If approved, the changes will go into effect July 1.
