Fringe Benefits Committee

ACAP has a permanent committee for fringe benefits. The Fringe Benefits Committee is comprised of seven members, one NMSU retiree and two ex-officio members. The ex-officio members are personnel director or a designated representative and the local representatives and the local representative, if any, serving on the Educational Retirement Board. The ex-officio members are nonvoting. Elections and appointments to the committee are conducted by ACAP. The Fringe Benefits Committee shall elect its chairperson and other such officers as it deems necessary.

The committee reviews and recommends policies which affect all employee fringe benefits except insurances, such as retirement, sick leave, annual leave, holidays, recreational facilities and others.
