Purpose
1. The release of prisoners of conscience (men, women, and children imprisoned for their beliefs, color, sex,
ethnic origin, language, or religion, provide they have neither used nor advocated violence).
2. Fair and prompt trials for all political prisoners.
3. An end to torture and executions in all cases.
