Complete and submit application packet by: Friday, September 04, 2009

• Current semester Registration Document - must be enrolled in 12 credit hours or more at NMSU - Main Campus (Banner print outs are acceptable)
  
• A typed paper statement of your demonstrated financial need
• A typed paper statement of participation (or planned participation) in the American Indian Program and/or its student organizations/activities, Peer Mentor Program or FAIS Program
• Copy of previous semester grades (transfer students use previous institution semester grades)
• Certificate of Indian blood (CIB)
• Submit your Current/Local mailing address where YOU receive mail on the application as this will be address used to notify you of our decision. Do not list your parent's/family mailing address.

• Fill out Application
• Submit all required information by due date

Note: If the number of qualified applicants exceeds available scholarship funds, awards will be determined by the submission date of the complete application package. The amount of award will be subject to the availability of funding and the number of applicants.
