The Future American Indian Scholars Program is a comprehensive enrichment program that encourages American Indian Youth to pursue their college education at NMSU.

High school juniors and seniors participate in workshops, classes, and lecture’s designed to provide them with information regarding NMSU and the freshman experience.

Annually, FAIS selects 30 qualified high school students, enrolled with federally recognized tribes, to participate in this summer program. AIP pays for meals, lodging, and fees.
