Chapter Goals:
Increase Awareness of what Alpha Chi is and the importance of its presence here at New Mexico State University
Increase Awareness of the key importance of Alpha Chi Members being and remaining active within our local chapter-Without a Doubt, Get Members Involved!
Institute Fall.2005:
AX Presidential Message and fulfill goals of message:
"All of you are talented individuals and without the Membership, there is No Alpha Chi to promote academic excellence, scholarship and character throughout our University and Community; each and every member is vital to our success as a chapter and organization. Continually form University/Community Partnerships.
Utilize resources efficiently (e.g. time, funds, personnel).
Capitalize on utilization of Faculty Sponsors, Officers and Members talents.
Have Faculty or Key Speakers host workshops, induction/banquet ceremonies relating to scholarship, character, truth, and other Alpha Chi virtues.
Create worthwhile fundraisers/scholarships for active members.
Institute Awards Ceremony (to be held during induction) for outstanding members and non-members who have done an outstanding job in supporting our chapter.
Provide/build our chapter with a polished and professional image.
Institute Vision Statement, Mission Statement and Code of Ethics.
Above all, positively impact/contribute to our University and Community! We all live, learn, and or work here--it is our duty to provide our talents, know-how, professionalism and character to our University and Community. Together, we make a difference!! ---Helen M.
