Objective 1. To increase the number of USC students graduating with PhDs in anthropology by increasing the number of courses taught and advisors available to work with student on their dissertations.
Objective 2: To improve the quality of library resources in archaeology and biological anthropology.
Objective 3. To increase the output of published research from USC.
Objective 4. To revive archaeological research in the Visayas through the establishment of a strong graduate emphasis on archaeology.
Objective 5: To increase the international perspective in anthropology courses at NMSU.
Objective 6:
To provide opportunities for NMSU graduate students to conduct MA fieldwork and
work with colleagues in another country.
