Joe Palmer

My name is Joe Palmer and it is a pleasure to be part of the New Mexico State University Community. I am the Resident District Manager for Campus Dining at New Mexico State. I am pleased to be back "at home" in Southern New Mexico and especially the Las Cruces area. I have worked in Campus Dining for over 14 years and many of those years have been spent in New Mexico. I certainly welcome your comments in regards to our services, both in improvements and hopefully compliments on what is working well. Please let me know if there is any way I can assist in your living and learning journey at New Mexico State and how we as a department can help you thrive while you are here.

Jennie McDowell
Hi! I'm Jennie McDowell the Marketing Program Manager for campus dining. I'm originally from Wyoming, but I graduated from NMSU and spent several years in Las Cruces managing restaurants. I'm excited to be able to work with students and Campus Dining managers to make sure we offer meal plans, restaurants, and programs that give NMSU students what they want. If you have any questions or recommendations please stop by the Campus Dining office in Corbett Center and tell me what you would like to see from Campus Dining!

Gerardo Bermudez
Hello, my name is Gerardo Bermudez. I am the Retail Manager for Campus Dining. I am currently over seeing Crossroads, Java City, College Canteen, and the Aggie Snack Bar. I have been employed with Campus Dining for 12 years. I am always open to any suggestions or recommendations. I look forward to working with all the great students and faculty at NMSU.

Kevin Gutierrez
Hello, my name is Kevin Gutierrez and I am the Residential Restaurant Director for Campus Dining. I've been working for Campus Dining for a little over 12 years. I enjoy working for the students and staff of New Mexico State University. If you have any questions please let me know.

Reggie Speer
Hi, my name is Reggie Speer and I am the production supervisor for campus dining. I have been working with campus dining at NMSU for about six years. I was born and raised in Las Cruces and also graduated from NMSU in 2003. It has been a wonderful experience working here at New Mexico State University and I would like to welcome all our new students and faculty. If you have any questions or feedback feel free to give me a call or stop by our office located on the first floor of Corbett Center.

Russell Matter
Russ comes to NMSU via Illinois. Russ has extensive background in high volume concessions service from Race Track to festivals to arena operations in Europe. Russ has made a dramatic impact at NMSU as noted by the first large concessions venue (UTEP vs. NMSU) in which he exceed prior year one game sales for football by more than 35K. This did not go unnoticed by our clients and athletics which sang our praises for the stellar service and improved flow in the stadium.

Wade Noon
Wade started as an associate working in a Residential facility five years ago before his promotion to supervisor in 2001. As of July 1st 2005 Wade has been working as a supervisor in our C-3 operations. Wade has also been assisting Russell Matter, in concessions this athletic season.

Ashley Rodriguez
Hey Folks! I am the new director of catering for Campus Dining Services. I come from Houston, TX and have worked for hotels in the past including Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. My goal is to help our clients and guests to plan their events and parties so that they are successful and memorable times in their lives. If you have any suggestions or comments please come by the office and drop me a line.

Chris Beardsley Executive Chef
Chris came to NMSU via Disney World in Orlando where he was the Sous Chef. Chris has quickly elevated the quality of the meals served in the Residential and Retail outlets as well as enhancing the offerings that were on the catering menu. Chris is well received by Mrs. Martin and President Martin. He has helped transition the image of catering on site. Chris also has strong ties with the College of Education and works closely with Summer Orientation.

Kelli Karnes University Club Restaurant Manager
Hello! My name is Kelli Karnes and I am the manager of the University Club at
the Stan Fulton Center. I am a graduate from the HRTM department here at New Mexico State University. I have extensive background in the Hospitality industry including working for the Four Seasons, in Dallas, TX. I am new to the NMSU Campus Dining "family" and I'm proud to serve the Las Cruces Community!
