Typical Fall Events

Welcome Back Reception - Evening get together held at the beginning of the fall semester for the purpose of meeting and greeting new and returning students to the NMSU campus. Snacks, tables and games are provided.

Community Luncheon- This luncheon is held in an attempt to introduce interaction between students and members of the surrounding Black communities.

 

Diversity Lecture Series – Event to promote dialogue, conversation and discourse on diversity. Every fall semester, Black Programs, The Teaching Academy and the other Ethnic Programs collaborate to bring a speaker to campus to discuss topics concerning diversity.
