Spring Events
Black History Month - The month of February is Black History Month and is celebrated by many different events sponsored by our department. These events range from music artists to art showings. Be sure to check back as it gets closer for updated information.
Community Luncheon- This luncheon is held in an attempt to introduce interaction between students and members of the surrounding Black communities.
Black Heritage Luncheon/Dinner – This luncheon/dinner is new to our Department in 2010. Previously known as the Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner, this event is used to raise scholarship money. It is a luncheon/dinner held during Black History month to celebrate the wonderfully rich history of Black America.
Clara Belle Williams Graduation Ceremony- This is a dinner ceremony held to honor our Black Programs students who are graduating in either December or May of the given year. It is also a right of passage ceremony for students.
