specializes in family therapy, teaching the
master's and doctoral level theory and technique
courses and supervising the doctoral practicum.
He

Dr. Merta is the training
director for the Professional Counselor program,
and
chair of the Counseling Training Committee. His
teaching, practice, and research interests are in
group work, addictions counseling, multicultural
counseling, and human development. He is a fellow
of the Association for Specialists in Group Work,
and is active in local mental health service
delivery. |

Dr. McNeil received his
Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the
University
of Texas in 1967. He has taught statistics and
research design courses since then, and has
conducted many evaluations of educational
programs. His research specialty is the General
Linear Model. |

Dr. Nystul is interested in
child and adolescent counseling, the counseling
process, and in providing an overview of the
counseling profession. His
practical and research specialty is Adlerian

Dr. Waldo teaches courses
on counseling theories and techniques, including
