COLLEGE SURVIVAL TIPS

Be sure to talk to each of your professors outside of class this semester. Go to office hours and ask for help or ask for more info. on topic you are interested in. Ask questions in class & make comments.

Make sure your professor knows who you are. Don't just turn in your homework. You will soon need letters of recommendation from them. They can't write good letters for you if they don't know anything about you besides your grade in the class. First year-students, start getting to know your professors now.

Always attend class. Sit in the front of the classroom.

Make sure you have a watch.

Don't procrastinate!

Utilize your friends wisely.

Get involved and join campus organizations.

Apply for scholarships.

Learn to budget.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

NEVER GIVE UP!
