September 10, 2002 Letter from the "E": It is the beginning of another school year and the New Mexico St. Chapter is ready for it. We have already begun the semester in a positive way be getting a Fall Rush class of 11 men (Rho Class). They can be viewed on the Associate Member page. These new AM's are already in the Delta Chi spirit. They've helped find new couch's for the house, landscape the front yard, donated a new tailgate BBQ and helped with a road cleanup and it is not even the middle of September yet. As most of you know this semester is football season. If any alumni want to come into town for the games let us know so that we can show you a good time. Tailgate (Josh Gurley) and Homecoming (Travis Covey) chairs are planning some exciting tailgates. This past summer a lot of work was done on the house and on our RUSH methods. Thanks go out to those brothers that were in town to help out with those. The Aggie Martlet, our alumni newsletter, will be going sometime this semester thanks to the help of alumni Jeff McAdoo ('00). Our Alumni Board of Trustees President Samuel Wasson ('01) is always looking for help with the formation of our new board. This semester Sam hopes to be more active in the chapter. Sam works at White Sands Missile Range, and lives in Las Cruces allowing him to interact with the chapter on a day in, day out basis.
