NMSU Buildings & Facilities

The NMSU Architect along with OFS and the rest of the NMSU community are undertaking several projects that will bring the buildings and facilities on campus in line with the mission of the SCCTF. Along with actively striving for compliance with the mandates of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment NMSU is currently in the process of seeking a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. This certification sets high standards for the energy consumption and efficiency of both new building projects and major renovations. It also includes environmental standards for the energy consumption, maintenance, and operation of currently existing buildings.
