The Tortugas Historical Photograph Exhibit

A small communtiy's most valuable cultural resources may be in the family photo album. For this project, documentary and oral history were combined with archival and family photographs to create a permanent museum-quality exhibition documenting the cultural and historical development of this Indian-Hispanic community whose matachines dancers are known throughout the Southwest.
