The Tortugas Historical Photograph Exhibit
A small communtiy's most valuable cultural resources may be in the family
photo album. For this project, documentary and oral history were combined
with archival and family photographs to create a permanent museum-quality
exhibition documenting the cultural and historical development of this
Indian-Hispanic community whose matachines dancers are known throughout
the Southwest.
