The "Work" Section of "The Way We Were" Exhibit

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of statehood, the Heritage Center worked
with the staff of the NMSU Museum to develop a museum exhibit of
artifacts, documents, photographs and narrative text, surveying the
cultural traditions of southern New Mexico as it approached statehood in
1912. A 28-minute video based on the themes of the exhibit and
illustrated with historic photographs was also produced and is available
for distribution.
