Fall Afternoon on Campus

Welcome to the English Department at New Mexico State University. We provide specialized study in Literature, Rhetoric and Professional Communication, and Creative Writing. We offer the following degrees:

a Bachelor of Arts in English
undergraduate minors in English, Creative Writing, and Rhetoric and Professional Communication
Master of Arts Degrees in Literature, Rhetoric and Professional Communication, and English Studies for Teachers
a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in Fiction and Poetry
a Doctorate in Rhetoric and Professional Communication
