A REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE

Irregular as he was,

Caught again and again in his rebellious acts.

Open to attack tradition,

Nonconformist he continued to be.

On occasion threatened surrounding religion.

Came by the nickname dissenter,

Lacking the love to a superstitious being above.

A radical at heart he will always be,

Stationed at pure reality.

Till one day, he may realize the error of his ways.

Amanda Goodluck
Gangland

Elaborate designs on buildings
Find their messages through
Followers of few men with
Rage and greed; they are outsiders to the world.
Night welcomes their most
Treacherous deeds to all,
Even their own kin
Running and rallying to find
Your single greatest offense.

Poem #1

C chaos and clatter arose in the arena.

A audiences were very confused when the

C chorus began to sing. They were very

O off note. It looked as though they sung

P passionately but their own

H harmony only caused turmoil. Soon

O Oscar began his solo and a

N noise was heard with intense beauty.

Y Yellow notes began to fall from the stage and Oscar was victorious.

Passionate lover, corruptible soul,

Alleviate thine enemies of thy

Long held grudges; anger no more.

Learn to love unfeigning,

Institute a softened heart and

Arrange the constant war.

Turn thy passions elsewhere;

Extenuate the battle and start anew.

Carmen Del Castillo

“Accretion”

All the small

Clots of blood

Chose to

Rise. Causing an

Effect that would make

The head become so enlarged,

It made her look

O so bumpy and

Nutty, where the clots were.

Seraphic Singing

by Brittany Baldwin

Sudden sounds of angel song

Every seraph sings along

Ringing praise throughout the skies

All in heaven cease their sighs

Praising God will give them strength

Hold them close and light their way

In the land above the clouds

Come angels to sing aloud

A Bombastic Poem of Epic Proportions

Josh Cook

Boasting outrageously was Mr.

Orotund on that

Magniloquent Monday of

Bloated proportions in

A pretentiously high-flown fortress full of

Self-important ninjas performing acts of

Terribly disproportionate self-proclamation

 In grandiloquent style;

Claiming themselves: awesome.

D--ehydrated and weak no longer having a drive

E--ager to find a purpose to satisfy my thirst

S--earching for a place that will grant me this desire

S-- eeing nothing near existence.

I--n suspense I live my life, moved only by a drop of what seemed like a forgotten dream which is now

C--overed by a blanket of dryness.

A--nxious for what there is to come, waiting to be set free form this parched feeling that holds me.

T--raveling through a life of no hope

E--nding now, because of what was never found.

To those who are about to read this,

Rant not on its lack of purpose.

Even as you sit and criticize it, Never have you thought that I

Can utilize an odd ability.

Had it all my life,

And can shoot and hit and shoot and hit,

Never missed a shot.

The accuracy of my personality is one of perceptivity and awareness.

What Does It Mean When You Bifurcate?

Bisecting something into two other things?

Increasing the quantity, from one to two?

Following the fork in the road?

Urging a friend to branch off into another life?

Requesting that he receive a second wife?

Cutting one to instead have two?

Attempting to find a biramous path?

Trying to find the tail of a bird whose tail is forficated?

Even separating your socks to please your mother.

Bifurcate

Bisecting your thoughts

Interpreting clear from hazy, while a

Fork in the road emerges

Urging a choice

Ripping reality from beneath you

Cutting time away

Allocating pieces of you

Tearing apart your very core, while

Eternity knocks at your door
