The primary goal of NMETE is to provide further opportunities for cross-institutional professional development, to improve teaching practices, and to increase student retention. So often the profession of teaching is performed in isolation, and it is our hope to increase the sharing of pedagogies in an effort to improve the college experience for incoming freshman.
