The Senior Writing Outreach Project (SWOP)
SWOP is designed to establish free weekly creative writing workshops in senior centers throughout New Mexico. All types of writing (poetry, fiction, essay, memoir, fictionalized memoir, etc.) are encouraged in these workshops.  Senior writers of all sensibilities and of all levels of ability are welcomed into a supportive, instructive environment in which their private (written for distribution to family and friends only) and public work (written for publication) will be regarded seriously.
