Occasionally, for one reason or another, we encounter a campus kitty who needs a good home. Normally, these are young kittens who, with a little effort on our part, can be socialized. Less frequently, we find ourselves with adult cats who previously belonged to someone but who are now homeless.
All of the kitties that FCaMP makes available for adoption have been thoroughly examined by a vet. They have received all necessary vaccinations (or in the case of young kittens, have received the initial series of injections, which should be continued by the adopter) and have been spayed or neutered. Any limitations or disabilities that a cat may have are fully disclosed to potential adopters, who are carefully screened prior to adoption by use of an adoption application form and a personal interview. (Please note that not all of the cats pictured below are FCaMP kitties, and as such, FCaMP makes no guarantee regarding the health or spay/neuter status of "non-FCaMP cats".)
Here are the kitties currently available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting one or more of these adorable felines, please call 639-3036 or send e-mail to corella@zianet.com. To view and/or print our Adoption Application form, please click here.

Mau has wonderful turquoise and green eyes. She has all her shots and is spayed. She is an eight year old female. She prefers to be the only cat. She adores people, even children, but since she has a heart murmur, excitement (too many dogs, cats, children, or people) could be harmful. She is very mild mannered and calm. A great companion for someone who works at home and needs company. Adoption fee $25. If you are interested in adopting Mau, please email Jackye at gardens@zianet.com or stop by Enchanted Gardens on Avenida de Mesilla. |

Schmeese is a beautiful male cat who loves to be petted. He has Siamese markings, but his face is more like a Himalayan. He has long, thick, elegant fur, and his blue eyes are quite mesmerizing. As you can see by this pose, he thinks he is "the cat's meow". A really delightful cat for an individual or a home with older children. He can play rough, so probably not a good match for young children. He is tolerant of other cats, though he would prefer to be the head honcho. Adoption fee $10. To meet Schmeese, please email Jackye at gardens@zianet.com or stop by Enchanted Gardens on Avenida de Mesilla. |

This is Zane, an adult unneutered male. Zane would LOVE to be an indoor lapcat. He seems to get along with most other cats, and is very well behaved indoors. The current foster mom will help pay vet expenses to get him neutered. If you know of someone who is looking for a very sociable and loving cat, then Zane might be the perfect boy for them! To meet him, contact Amy @ 575-233-3220. |
