| William Eamon is
a professor of history and director of the University Honors Program. He
has been teaching at NMSU since 1976. He is a specialist in the history of
science and medicine and the Italian Renaissance. He has published a book,
Science and the Secrets of Nature (Princeton 1994) and over fifty articles
and reviews in the area of history of science, technology, and medicine.
