Mr. Salway
began his career at New Mexico State University in 1974 as Director
of Veteran's Affairs. Three years later he became Director of
Placement & Career Services and has held this position
since. During his tenure, Mr. Salway has established a strong
rapport with business leaders and recruiters from all over the
United States. These contacts have brought many benefits to NMSU in
the form of scholarship donations, professional employment and
experiential education opportunities for students of NMSU.
When Mr.
Salway is not busy with work related activities; he maintains a
hectic home schedule trying to keep up with the many activities of
his family. He and his wife, Sandy, are devoted parents to four
children: Stacey, Stephanie, Scott and Shannon and two grandchildren
Ashley and Andrea. A special thanks to Mr. Salway, from Golden Key,
for his many eyars of service to students at NMSU.
This
was the introduction speech given on Mr. Salway when he was
inducted
as
