Dr.
Patricia R. Wolf, Vice President of Student Affairs at New Mexico
State University, received her Bachelor of Sicence degree from
University of North Carolina, and Masters and Doctor of Education in
Counseling and Educational Psychology from New Mexico State
University in 1983. She began her career at NMSU as a counselor in
the Counseling Center in 1975. In 1985, she became Director of
Counseling and Student Development which uniquely qualified her for
her current position where her areas of responsibility include:
Auxiliary Services (including Housing, Corbett Center Services,
Campus Activities, Greek Affairs, National Student Exchange, Dining
Services, Special Events and the Bookstore) in addition to
Counseling and Student Development which comprises of personal and
group counseling, the Career Center, Self-Development Lab, Women's
Center, Services for Students with Disabilities, Veterans Affairs,
National Testing Programs and GED testing. She also supervises the
Health Center, Student Non-Academic Discipline, Placement &
Career Services (includes Student Employment and Co-op Education
Program) and Special Projects.
This
was the introduction speech given on Dr. Wolf when she was
inducted
as
an Honorary Member on March 10th, 2001.
