The Master of Arts (MA) in government is one of two graduate degree programs offered by the Department of Government at New Mexico State University. The MA program provides coursework in each of the major fields of political science and prepares students for a variety of careers in teaching, public service, and the private sector, as well as for further graduate study. Most courses are scheduled in the evening, with the program taking approximately two years to complete.
