The Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Business Administration & Economics created this minor to enhance educational and employment opportunities of students interested in border issues. The curricula combines course in government, anthropology, economics, sociology, spanish, and history. The head of either the Department of Government or Department of Economics may give certification of completion of the minor.

Global Political Economy
The Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Business Administration & Economics created this minor to help students understand a wide range of global phenomena and their effects on an increasingly interdependent world. The curricula combines courses in government, finance, international communication, international management, and accounting. The head of either the Department of Government or the Department of Economics may give certification of completion of the minor.
