Undergraduate Admission
Undergraduate students may apply for admission to NMSU by contacting the Admissions Office. Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Community Health (BCH) degree in the Department of Health Science at NMSU are first admitted as pre-BCH students. Students keep this designation until they have met specific admission requirements (please see the current NMSU Undergraduate Catalog for admission criteria).
Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) degree are first admitted as pre-EOH students. Students keep this designation until they have met specific admission requirements (please see the current NMSU Undergraduate Catalog for admission criteria , or contact the Department of Health Science for admission requirements.)
Graduate Admission (Domestic)
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their completed application before February 28 to receive full consideration for Fall admission and before September 30 to receive full consideration for Spring admission.
Graduate Admission (International)
All international students must pursue application to NMSU through the Center for International Programs (CIP).
MPH Departmental Application
This application is required for all domestic and international graduate applicants.
All MPH applicants will be evaluated based on the MPH Admissions Evaluation Form . The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required, but may be used to evaluate an applicant's qualifications for the MPH program.
DEPARTMENTAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MPH Admissions Form "W" - In-person program only
MPH Admissions Form - Online program only
Letters of Recommendation (total of two [2] required)
Personal Essay- Transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
Graduate Assistantship Application- Optional: Scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
