Welcome! The College, also known as "CHSS", includes the Department of Health Science, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. The college, with its three units, moved into the Health & Social Services Building at the beginning of the Spring 2004 semester. Located at 1335 International Mall on the main Las Cruces campus of New Mexico State University (also near the intersection of University and Solano), the HSS building is the first collective home for the college and its units since CHSS became a college more than 25 years ago.
Our College is committed to students and to our alumni! We have begun increased recruitment and retention efforts, and will continue to reach out to our graduates as well as to friends of our college. We are forging new partnerships with corporations, foundations, alumni and friends to assist us in meeting challenges of today and tomorrow
