Memorial Tower: In the now...
Functioning as the heart of the College of Health and Social Services, Memorial Tower provides vital services and contains areas of relaxation, refuge and beauty.
The first floor contains the Aggie Memorial Room which also functions as a study lounge.
Students seeking a quiet place to study or a place to reflect before an exam; can meet or relax in it's soft ambiance surrounded by images of Aggies Past. Aggie Memorial Room provides a peacful place of refuge from a long day and revives the spirit.
The second floor provides a state-of-art computer classroom and lab.
Special care was taken to integrate the Tower in the design and function of the HSS Building. Theis classroom and lab has 25 hard-wored workstaions that enable CHSS faculty to infoporate hands-on technology treaining as part of the course curriculum. The room also functions as computer lab where students can catch up on their email, type-up & print project reports and term papers. Workshops requiring indivudual workstations and high-speed internet access may also be held here.
The third floor holds a timeless hidden jewel with the "Tower Room".
The "Tower Room", is a perfect marriage of timeless beauty and function. The room is used for college events, private meetings and special gatherings.
