Are you a current housing resident? Are you already thinking about housing for the 2013-2014 academic year? Your chance to lasso a space for next year will happen during Room Rodeo '13!
Renewal Timeline
Roommate Selection will take place March 1- March 31, 2013
Room Selection will take place April 1-April 15, 2013
Advantages
Because you are a current resident, you will have first priority to:
- Move to a new room, building or apartment on campus
- Keep your current room or apartment if you don’t want to move
- Pre-select your roommates
- Place your requests online for greater convenience
Important Notes for the Coming Year
Monagle Closure
In line with the master plan for Housing & Residential Life, the closure of Monagle Hall is likely to occur at the end of this semester, spring 2013. As such Monagle spaces will not be available for selection during Room Rodeo.
LLC Moves
Living Learning Communities for Honors, Engineering, PrePharmacy and iDEN will all be moving to Rhodes-Garrett-Hamiel. Thus, RGH spaces will only be available for students who qualify for and choose to participate in one of these LLCs.
LLC pre-requisites for PGM, Honors, Engineering and PrePharmacy will be enforced during Room Rodeo so be sure you qualify if you’re signing up for one of these spaces!
Single Rooms
Only those spaces specifically designed for single occupancy will be offered as singles. All other rooms and apartments will be assigned at the stated capacity. Students requiring single occupancy due to health, disability or accommodation issues must contact the Housing Office for specific renewal instructions
How it Works
Using your myHousing account (login using your myNMSU username and password), you will be able to select your space and roommates for next fall. Please review the roommate selection information before you begin your room selection. Several special events are planned to provide you with information about your different options before Room Rodeo selections begin.
