Mail Services

Zip + 4 ensures speedier mail delivery in all areas of campus housing.

Residents are now encouraged to use the 4-digit code after their zip code to ensure faster mail processing. Each address, or block of addresses, has a different 4-digit number. You can look up your unique "Zip + 4" at the following URL: http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

North Campus:

Each residence hall room has its own mailbox located in the North Campus Area Office at Garcia Hall. Mail is delivered Monday through Saturday, with the exception of holidays. Please use all capital letters in the address.

Please check your mail every day. The Department of Housing and Residential Life will use your campus mailbox to distribute important and time-sensitive information such as break / closing information, receipts, and other such documents. It is your responsibility to check your mailbox.

NOTE: Distribution of items through your mailbox constitutes proper notification. As a result, you are encouraged to check your mailbox daily. The Area Office is equipped to handle package delivery from the United State Postal Service or other delivery services. Federal Express, UPS, and other carriers deliver packages daily. When a package arrives addressed to you, a slip is placed in your mailbox notifying you of the delivery and how to claim your package.

Package addressing for non-USPS carriers is different than your regular mail address. Packages coming though UPS, FedEx, DHL or other ground carriers should be addressed as follows:

South Campus

Mail is delivered at mailbox clusters located throughout the South Campus area. Mail is delivered Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. To receive your mailbox key, go to the Post Office located on the lower level of Corbett Center.

NOTE: The South Campus Area Office is not equipped to receive packages from any delivery service. If you are expecting a package, please make arrangements for delivery at a time you will be home.
